JOB SUMMARY: To direct, supervise, coach, and lead Attended Donation Center (ADC) Manager, Attendants, and Floaters in accordance with company policies and procedures to attain financial strength and growth of the department.

Direct Reports: Attended Donation Center Manager, Attendants, and Attended Donation Center Floaters.

Essential Job Functions

  • Screen and hire ADC candidates to always ensure appropriate staffing at all ADC locations.
  • Train, evaluate, motivate, and supervise ADC Manager and attendants emphasizing the importance of excellent customer service and adherence to GCO’s standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Coach and develop performance of ADC team members resulting in maximum team efficiency and profitability.
  • Perform quality assurance visits to ADCs on a regular basis to include the territory of ADC Manager.
  • Monitor and maintain overall ADC performance and housekeeping to Agency standards at all sites.
  • Coordinate with the Director or Manager of Logistics, Warehouse and Post Retail in all collection activities to ensure an efficient, safe, and secure flow of donations.
  • Proactively resolves all conflicts among collection, production, and distribution of donated products.
  • Prepare and submit daily activity reports as assigned and maintain all company records and reports accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Manage budget and maintain expenditure in accordance with the Agency, departmental, and financial goals.
  • Responsible for the resolution of any complaints and communication with the management team.
  • Conduct meetings with all ADC employees as required.
  • Comply with Agency policies and DGR standard operational procedures (SOPs).
  • Review and be familiar with Goodwill Central Oklahoma safety policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings and report any unsafe work conditions, accidents, or injuries immediately.

  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED, required.
  • 2-5 years of multi-unit management experience preferred or experience in a supervisory role of 30 or more employees.
  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License required.
  • Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record.
  • Ability to speak, read and write the English language.

  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • This work requires the following activities: Standing, walking, twisting, bending, grabbing, and reaching; occasional squatting, kneeling, driving, grasping, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • The ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds, or more with assistance.
  • Must be able to maneuver 75 pounds, pull utility carts on wheels on and off trucks.
  • Employees are required to operate a computer, and handle textiles and donated goods.
  • This is considered a safety sensitive position. No level of impairment from drugs, alcohol or prescription medications will be acceptable while performing the essential functions of the job.

Work Environment

  • Works in climate-controlled donation center environment most of time but will be exposed to airborne particles such as dust, mold, dirt and pollen as well as extreme heat and cold at times.
  • Moderate noise level.
  • Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. The work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and black periods which may vary from week to week. Works 40 hours per week or more when required.
  • Frequent travel required.
