Job Description: Customer Support and Sales Representative Primary Responsibilities
Provide the best customer support and account management to clients to ensure a successful, long-term business partnership. Maintain deep product knowledge to effectively assist existing customers with their orders, identify upselling opportunities, and drive sales growth. Assist management with existing and potential new clients by handling essential office tasks and providing polite, professional assistance via phone, mail, and email.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Order Management & Support: Accurately capture customer order details (product specs, quantity, shipping info, special instructions), confirm product availability and delivery timelines, provide order confirmations, and assist existing customers with any questions regarding the ordering process, payment options, and delivery.
- Sales & Product Consultations: Leverage deep product knowledge to guide customers through product selection, answer technical questions, and proactively suggest complementary products or upgrades to drive sales.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions, manage pipeline communication, and ensure seamless follow-up with existing and potential clients.
- Art & Production Liaison: Collect data and graphics to send to the art department, ensuring the accuracy of art proofs before production.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Maintain constant communication with the production team to ensure orders are fulfilled by the correct deadlines.
- Operational Support: Support office staff and management with general operational tasks, including answering phones in a professional manner to ensure clients receive excellent service.
- Process Improvement: Suggest changes to office task workflows to improve overall efficiency and the customer experience.
- Office Maintenance: Ensure the office environment is always kept clean, organized, and professional.
Qualifications
- An Associates degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven customer service and sales experience.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Experience with CRM tools a plus (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot).
- Strong clerical and data entry experience.
- Outstanding communicator, both orally and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-starter who works well independently and takes initiative.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor with a desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
- Must be reliable, responsible, flexible, and able to take direction well.
