Float Receptionist

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Float Receptionist to join our team. As a Float Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations at multiple locations within our dermatology practice. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule appointments and manage appointment calendars efficiently
• Collect patient information and verify insurance coverage
• Maintain electronic medical records accurately and securely
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages to appropriate staff
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and faxing documents
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care across locations
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality policies at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
• Willingness to float between Clackamas and Troutdale locations as scheduled
