Our client, a multi-billion-dollar leader in the retail industry, is seeking a Head of Loss Prevention to lead asset protection, inventory control, shrink reduction, investigations, and compliance initiatives across a large multi-unit retail network. This role will lead a team of District Loss Prevention Supervisors and the Surveillance Team while partnering closely with Store Operations, Distribution, and corporate leadership to protect company assets and improve operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop District Loss Prevention Supervisors and the Surveillance Team
- Drive loss prevention, inventory control, asset protection, and compliance programs across the organization
- Oversee investigations involving theft, fraud, inventory discrepancies, and operational compliance matters
- Direct surveillance review processes and leverage video analytics to identify risks and opportunities
- Monitor inventory accuracy, shrink trends, and margin performance, providing actionable recommendations to leadership
- Partner with Store Operations and Distribution teams to implement risk mitigation and asset protection strategies
- Review and approve shrink prevention incentive programs
- Prepare and present reports, metrics, and financial analyses to support business decisions
- Conduct field audits, assessments, and investigations as needed
Qualifications
- 7 years of multi-unit Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, or Retail Operations experience
- Proven leadership experience managing geographically dispersed team
- Strong background in investigations, inventory management, shrink reduction, compliance, and operational auditing
- Experience with surveillance systems and video analytics
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skill
- Ability to travel as needed
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Salary : $145,000 - $175,000
