Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Manage behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective communication.
- Educate children on various subjects including arts, sports, and basic life skills.
- Provide support for children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance.
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other educators or childcare providers to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
- Skills in tutoring or teaching various subjects to enhance children's learning experiences.
- First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Experience working with students in various settings (theater, sports coaching, special education) is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and their families.
