Position Overview
Goodness Caregivers Network is seeking an experienced Marketing & Sales Representative to support growth across the state of Mississippi by developing referral relationships, increasing client census, and educating families and professionals on non-medical in-home care services.
This role requires a strong understanding of Mississippi Medicaid Waiver programs, VA benefits, Long-Term Care Insurance, and private pay home care, along with proven success in healthcare or home care sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a Mississippi-focused marketing and sales strategy to grow client referrals and census
- Build and maintain referral relationships with:
- Mississippi hospitals and discharge planners
- Skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and rehabilitation centers
- Assisted living and independent living communities
- Area Agencies on Aging (AAA)
- Case managers, social workers, and care coordinators
- Veterans service organizations and community partners
- Educate families and referral partners on non-medical in-home care services offered by Goodness Caregivers Network
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Mississippi payor sources, including:
- Mississippi Medicaid Waiver Programs (such as Elderly & Disabled Waiver and related programs)
- VA benefits, including Aid & Attendance
- Long-Term Care Insurance authorization and billing processes
- Private pay service models
- Conduct in-home, facility-based, and virtual consultations as needed
- Collaborate with intake, scheduling, and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
- Track and manage leads, referrals, and conversion metrics using CRM or internal systems
- Attend Mississippi-based networking events, health fairs, senior expos, and community outreach events
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and census growth goals
- Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with Mississippi regulations and ethical healthcare marketing standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in home care marketing, healthcare sales, or related field
- Demonstrated experience working with:
- Mississippi Medicaid Waiver programs
- VA benefits and veteran-focused services
- Long-Term Care Insurance
- Private pay home care clients
- Proven ability to build referral networks within Mississippi communities
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and email platforms
- Valid Mississippi driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience marketing for a Mississippi-licensed non-medical in-home care agency
- Established referral relationships within Mississippi healthcare systems
- Familiarity with Mississippi Division of Medicaid processes and documentation
- Experience serving elderly populations and their families
