Open Positions & Key Responsibilities
1. Front-of-House (FOH)
Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional customer service, welcome guests, and answer product questions professionally.
Order Management: Answer phone calls, accurately take phone orders, and handle cash/POS transactions.
Order Prep: Carefully package "to-go" orders and accurately label prepped food items.
Shop Maintenance: Keep the front-of-house clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Daily Operations: Reliably complete designated opening and closing shifts.
2. Baker and Back-of-House
- Production: Prepare and bake high-quality breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty items following established recipes.
- Artistry & Presentation: Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and high presentation standards.
- Operations: Safely and efficiently operate mixers, ovens, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Prep & Math: Scale ingredients, prepare doughs, and assemble pastries using basic kitchen math.
- Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering strictly to food safety and health guidelines.
- Qualifications: Previous baking/food production experience preferred; high-volume experience is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Punctuality: Bakery production operates on a tight schedule, so being on time is crucial to avoid disrupting the day’s inventory.
- Coachability: Be willing to accept feedback, learn to operate commercial baking machinery, and master repetitive tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in measuring ingredients and monitoring timers is essential to prevent products from burning.
