Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Litigation Associate located in Glen Allen, VA. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for responsibilities including drafting motions, conducting legal research, preparing for and handling depositions, and representing clients in court proceedings. The role requires collaboration with other team members and maintaining a high standard of professionalism while managing a diverse caseload.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and application of Law with the ability to interpret and advise on legal principles.
- Experience in drafting and filing Motions in legal proceedings.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough legal Research to build or support cases.
- Skills in preparing for and handling Depositions and assisting in fact-finding processes.
- Familiarity with court proceedings and an ability to represent clients effectively in Courts.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership, preferably in Virginia.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in any of the firm's key industries, such as healthcare, insurance, or intellectual property, is a plus.
