What are the responsibilities and job description for the CS-CITYDESK position at Goodin Company?
The City Desk/Counter Sales Specialist provides outstanding service by helping customers who come into the City Desk. They deliver strong customer service and a willingness to expand their product knowledge to best help the needs of our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and obtaining required parts in a friendly, professional manner.
- Establish professional in-person relationships with customers.
- Provide accurate parts-related information to customers.
- Ensure that customer orders are entered and processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain City Desk area, in compliance with company, state and federal regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
- Plumbing and/or heating knowledge a plus.
- Great customer service, problem solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable with computer use.

- Warehouse atmosphere. Employee may be exposed to moving machinery, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
