You're quick, detail-oriented, and team-driven. As Expo, you'll be the link between the kitchen and the dining room. In this role, you’ll help keep the line running smoothly, ensure dishes are presented correctly, and make sure food reaches guests promptly and accurately. You're the communicator between the front and back of house, helping deliver a seamless dining experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner
- Understand and execute the proper sequence of service
- Check to ensure the food is prepared within the proper amount of time
- Ensure all plates are of the highest quality as well as being clean and attractive
- Have a strong knowledge of the menu to anticipate the needs or requests of our guests
- Set up the expo line with all the proper garnishes and supplies required for a full day of business
QUALIFICATIONS
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- Able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Must poses a positive attitude and work well with other team members
- Must be a team player
- Able to carry a 40lbs tray of food along with a tray jack
- Must be able to speak and read English, Spanish a plus
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
- Ability to remain on feet and constantly moving for a prolonged period of time
- Well-groomed and professionally dressed
- Food Handler Certified
