About The Commercial Service Technician
The Commercial Service Technician is based out of Bovard Heating and Cooling in Altoona, PA, and is a
part of our Commercial Services Group. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has 3 years of
experience in Commercial Service and loves providing outstanding customer service while focusing on
doing quality work. The Commercial HVAC Service Technician starting rate is between $25.00 - $35.00 per
hour DOE. Integrity and Customer Care are core values here at Haller! This is a Safety Sensitive position.

What You Will Do
- Be an outgoing, friendly, and knowledgeable Service Technician who builds relationships with
electrical and mechanical faults.
- Work on the big stuff. We have a wide range of Commercial customers which gives you the chance
conditioning systems, fan coils, air handling units, chillers, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, Makeup
Air Units, ERVs, WSHPs, HVAC Control Systems, Refrigeration Equipment, and exhaust systems
everything in between.
- Provide business owners or maintenance managers with your honest opinion based on the facts
- Pay diligence. Find and fix the small problems before they turn into bigger, more expensive repairs,
- Work under minimum supervision but also be a part of a team that respects each other and leans
- Put safety first. Safety is a core value here at Haller, so it is key that our technicians observe safety
- Provide guidance and share the knowledge you have spent your career learning with those just

- 3 years of Commercial HVAC service experience. REQUIRED
- A strong drive to do the job right the first time and pride in your work.
- Be a lifelong learner and realize you never stop learning and growing in the field to be good at the
- Valid and current drivers license with an insurable driving record so we can give you a new
- CFC Certification - Type I and II, Universal is ideal!
- Proficiency with technology to work from an iPad and the ability to type a professional email to
