Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to company standards and health regulations.
- Use a variety of cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively to maintain floors, carpets, and surfaces.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving high and low dusting or cleaning supplies with proper technique.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order for each shift.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Experience with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and outdoor surface maintenance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation products, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals ensures safe practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently across multiple client locations while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Previous housekeeping management or hotel housekeeping experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (if applicable) and manual tasks necessary for comprehensive cleaning responsibilities.
