Job Summary
Join a new business opening here in Dickson as a Part Time Sales and Kitchen Associate. Employees play a vital role in making guests feel welcome in the space while they are gaming and socializing while also helping with food and drink preparation. This position combines retail sales, food handling, and kitchen responsibilities, offering a lively environment for individuals passionate about building community and customer service. You will engage with customers, assist with food service, operate POS systems, with the potential to have other responsibilities based on your interest and skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming space for customers
- Manage food preparation tasks including assembling menu items, handling ingredients, and operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system
- Maintain general knowledge about the games and products sold in the store
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and retail areas, adhering to food safety regulations and management practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in service or fast food restaurant preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with basic computer software and ability to learn point-of-sale system
- Ability to handle multiple tasks during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Retail sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Lack of experience in any of the above areas should not discourage you from applying, if you feel like you would be a good fit for the cafe.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
