Duties
- Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately during retail sales transactions
- Handle cash drawers responsibly, ensuring proper cash management and balancing at the end of shifts
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with their needs and inquiries
- Maintain product knowledge to effectively assist customers and promote sales
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store remains tidy and inviting
- Support the team with various store duties as needed, including inventory management and visual displays
- Ensure a smooth checkout process while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
Qualifications
- Open availability preferred to accommodate store hours and busy periods
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly
- Willingness to learn retail product knowledge and sales techniques
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
