What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician - Full-Time (AM Shift) position at Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital?
Now hiring for a full-time morning shift Kennel Technician! We are looking to add highly-motivated, detail-oriented members to our team. The position is scheduled for up to 40 hours per week. Team members are required to work alternating weekends and holidays.
Shift schedules:
Weekdays: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (1 hour lunch)
Saturdays: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (1 hour lunch)
Sundays: 7:30 am to 10:00 am and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Holidays follow the Sunday schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Walking and feeding animals
- Bathing animals
- Performing nail trimming services
- Cleaning kennels and work areas
- Laundering and folding soiled items
- Providing support and assistance to treatment area personnel as needed
- Administering medications to boarding animals
- Contributing to the hospital's positive, professional atmosphere
