The Summer Camp SYEP Staff supports and assists staff in carrying out all planned educational and enrichment activities for the summer camp enrichment and recreational program.

Major Duties
- Assist the group leader with engaging activities, including sports and recreation, educational, arts and craft and special events
- Supervise participants throughout summer camp program
- Distribute snacks and assist with clean-up
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining the rules of the program and upholding the summer camp model
- Collaborate with group leader to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Follows all GSS, DYCD, DOE and SACC regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assists with support with trips
- Must demonstrate reliable and consistent work habits, and ability to work with other youth.
- Must be available during the program hours listed above.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic team environment.
- Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based and/or youth development perspective.
