Resident Assistant (RA) - Part Time
CBRF Locations: Forest Glen & Shepherd's Inn
Pay Range $18.50-$20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Includes $1.00 Shift Differential
Current Open Positions 6:00AM-10:00AM Breakfast
- 24 hours per 2 week pay period (Forest Glen)
- 28 hours per 2 week pay period (Shepherd's Inn)
Includes every other weekend and holiday
Position Summary
The Resident Assistant (RA) provides hands-on support to older adults and individuals with disabilities who need daily assistance. This role focuses on helping residents maintain independence, dignity, and comfort in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support use of walkers, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices
- Help with light housekeeping, laundry, phone use, and mail
- Provide assistance with meals, including setup, service, and cleanup
- Support medication routines and observe/report changes in resident condition
- Escort residents to activities, appointments, and outings
- Participate in resident activities and encourage engagement
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
