DAY SHIFT (6a-2p)

Responsibilities:
MUST: Have good attendance!!!!
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed
- Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior to the nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring patients' dietary needs are met
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health conditions is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals
Skills:
- Strong patient service skills, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and performing basic medical procedures
- Excellent organizational skills to manage patient records and documentation accurately
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and ability to maintain a clean and sterile environment

This position is 6a-2p and is 4 days per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation.
