Job description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to policies and procedures
- Develop and implement nursing care plans and protocols
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments of patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform sutures and wound care as needed
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients
- Utilize Point Click Care or similar electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management
- Ensure proper airway management techniques are implemented when necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans for patients
- Coordinate home care services for patients upon discharge
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Proven experience as a Nurse Manager or in a similar leadership role
- Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in diagnostic evaluation, medication administration, suturing, and pediatrics
- Familiarity with Point Click Care or other electronic medical record systems
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
