The Occupational Therapy Manager is responsible for the leadership, management, and daily operational oversight of the Occupational Therapy Department. - Responsible for the overall coordination and management of Occupational Therapy services.
- Ensure appropriate interpretation and implementation of physician prescriptions and therapy plans through oversight of clinical staff.
- Maintain effective public relations with patients, families, staff, and the community.
- Promote cost-effective use of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies at the department level.
- Ensure departmental safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
Education
Required: Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, rehabilitation leadership).
Licenses/ certifications/ registrations
Required: Must have or be eligible for State Licensure or Registration. Current certification in CPR.

Experience
Required: Have ability to provide for patient's rehabilitation and psychosocial well-being. Ability to meet lift in classification. Ability to communicate with others both medically and publicly. Have a nice appearance, being well-groomed and demonstrate appropriate contact. Clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
