Good Shepherd Fairview Home is looking for a Cook/Assistant Cook to join our exceptional Dinning team!
Position Details
5:30am-2pm 80hrs/bi-weekly pay period including every other weekend and every other holiday

Cook Summary
Preparing and cooking meals from a planned menu and modified diets, using production sheets, standardized recipe to maintain quality, quantity and palpability diets. Follow HACCP procedures for all food recording food temperatures.
Maintaining the cleanliness, proper sanitating and security of all work areas and equipment. Overseeing kitchen staff in food production and directing work in absence of dietary manager /supervisor.
Food Safety and sanitation procedures are followed daily. i.e. food storage, cleaning rags, food tan sport and organization of walk-in refrigerators/freezers, HACCP procedures and documentation.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred
Qualifications: basic knowledge in the operation of kitchen equipment; basic knife skills and safety and sanitation standards
Experience: 1 - 3 years of related job experience
