Job Description

The restorative nursing aide serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care.

  • Uses appropriate mobility, balance and strengthening exercises, incorporating into therapeutic activities.
  • Includes using adaptive equipment, fall prevention, appropriate turning, positioning and repositioning techniques, basic range of motion exercises, and good body mechanics.
  • Assists with training and implementation of special programs designed to improve resident's quality of life, ability to perform daily activities and maintain their highest functional level of independence.

Salary : $21,500 - $30,750
