Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of caregivers at The Good Samaritan Society, a not-for-profit organization providing quality care and service to seniors in a Christian environment.

This part-time position offers flexible scheduling options, including 12-hour day shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with every fifth weekend off. You will be working alongside a talented team of nurses who genuinely care about our residents.

About the Role

As an RN, you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, as well as collaborating with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will be responsible for coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, educating residents and their families, and providing various nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, educate residents and their families, and provide various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Provide adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care.

Requirements

• Nationally accredited nursing program or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice is occurring or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
