Join Our Team as a Nursing Care Specialist
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
About the Role
- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Offer psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
