Job Summary
This position requires a caring and compassionate individual to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with basic health care needs, including daily living activities, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, and provide water and supplements as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment by performing housekeeping and laundry duties.
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
