What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Traveler Opportunities position at Good Samaritan Society?
The Good Samaritan Society is committed to delivering high-quality care and services to seniors. As a Travel RN, you'll have the opportunity to work in various locations within a 150-mile radius from your home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement. You'll be responsible for coordinating care, resident assessment, education, and various other nursing interventions. You may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel based on their competence level and job description. To be eligible for this position, you must hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. A graduate degree from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred, including but not limited to Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A bachelor's degree in nursing is also preferred.
