**Job Title:** Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
**Location:** Mandan, ND
**Job Summary:**
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at GSS ND Mandan Sunset. As an LPN, you will provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians or other authorized healthcare professionals.
- Evaluate resident data to determine care needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed and contribute to the assessment of residents.
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary needs.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Ongoing education, training, and competency requirements must be met.
