LPN - Long Term Care
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.
Duties:
- Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
- Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
