About the Role
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Travel CNA. This opportunity allows a CNA to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living activities, aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, document resident interactions, collect non-invasive body fluid specimens, gather vital signs, provide housekeeping and laundry services, and participate in departmental/organization committees as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
