Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
About the Job
This position requires a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and documenting resident interactions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and documenting resident interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and industry developments
Qualifications
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
• Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
• Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility
