Key Responsibilities
- Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Knows and delivers age-appropriate care related to physical and psychological needs of residents as per care plan.
- Assists residents with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and vital signs monitoring.
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
