Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to work in various Good Samaritan Society locations within a 150-mile radius from their home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.
- Demonstrate competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population-specific standards related to the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident as per care plan.
- Possess the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status and to provide the care needed.
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
- Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
