Per Diem, Days-
Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist
FRI 8 am to 5 pm (1 hour for lunch)
**PRN coverage at GSMC Main Hospital IF needed**
Job Summary:
Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists nuclear medicine studies per established protocols. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Nuclear Medicine Technologists
- Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Board eligible. Must obtain Board Certification or Registry within 6 months of date of hire.
- Licenses, Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
- Current CPR (BCLS) certification
- Certification by the Imaging Services Medical Director to inject radioisotopes
