Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Cook you will be responsible for the overall food preparation for patients and preparing all grilled items in the cafeteria.

You will be responsible for monitoring cafeteria food for accuracy, performs taste testing of foods and temperature logging

Qualifications:

• Food handler’s permit
• Two years’ experience in food and nutrition services preferred
• Three years’ experience in quantity food production (including one-year experience as a cook) preferred
• Knowledge of applied principles of clinical nutrition relating to food preparation and service preferred
• Ability to perform non-complex arithmetic calculation in order to make recipe conversion effectively
• Must have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with food production/service and management personnel, and supervisory staff and customers
• High school diploma or equivalent
