Job Summary
Good Manufacturing is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Inventory Forklift Driving Associate to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving, moving, staging, and organizing materials and finished goods using forklifts and other material-handling equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting trailer and modular structure production.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Material Handling
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, move, and stage materials, components, and finished products
- Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
- Store materials in designated locations following inventory control procedures
- Prepare and stage materials for production and outbound shipments
Inventory Control & Organization
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies or damaged goods
- Assist with cycle counts, audits, and physical inventory checks
- Label, organize, and maintain clean storage areas to support efficient workflow
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to ensure material availability
Safety & Equipment
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies while operating forklifts and handling materials
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard environment
General Support
- Assist with loading trailers, containers, and flatbeds for customer deliveries
- Support yard organization and material flow across the facility
- Perform other warehouse or production support tasks as needed
QualificationsRequired
- Forklift driving experience (certification preferred; training available)
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Basic math and inventory counting skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, or trailer production
- Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software
- Yard forklift or rough-terrain forklift experience
Work Environment
- Indoor warehouse and outdoor yard operations
- Exposure to forklifts, trailers, steel, aluminum, and construction materials
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
