We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join our team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and offering local recommendations
- Manage reservations accurately through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring all guest preferences are noted and fulfilled
- Handle phone communication with professionalism, maintaining excellent phone etiquette while answering inquiries or making reservations
- Maintain guest relations by anticipating needs, providing information about hotel amenities, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and effectively in case of incidents or safety concerns
- Assist with night audit tasks when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management practices and property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse guests
- Excellent customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person while maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and guest safety protocols
- Experience working in resort environments or with guest relations is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle night audit responsibilities when required
