We’re looking for a patient, nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our toddler classroom — a small group of 8–10 children, big on curiosity, emotions, and love.
At Good News Children’s Center, you’ll work in a Christ-centered environment that supports:

* Partnering with families
* Learning and growing alongside an experienced lead teacher

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Qualifications
Previous experience working with young children (toddler experience preferred)
High School Diploma/GED and at least 18 years of age
Committed Christian who knows, loves, and serves Christ, and is actively seeking spiritual growth within a body of believers
Warm, friendly personality with sensitivity to the feelings and needs of others
Strong communication and exceptional customer service skills
Professional attitude toward children, families, and staff
Physically able to:
Stand, stoop, and move quickly throughout the classroom and playground to maintain child safety
Be outdoors in various weather conditions
Lift a child weighing up to 40 pounds and get up and down from the floor quickly
Able to pass a background check with:
No substantiated report of child abuse or neglect
No felony conviction within the past five years
No conviction of a sex offense, a crime of violence, or a crime against children
