Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair. Duties
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems on construction sites.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical wiring and systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and equipment installation tasks.
- Measure electrical components with devices such as ohmmeters and ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in framing carpentry tasks as needed for electrical installations within construction projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and schematics reading.
- Experience or exposure to industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus.
- Construction site experience preferred; must be comfortable working in various environments.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn about NEC standards and electrical codes.
- Prior experience with construction or framing carpentry is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $23.50 - $25.00 per hour
