Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Colorado Springs, CO, for a Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Residential Wireman), with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate. The Electrician will be responsible for independently performing electrical installations, service calls, repairs, and maintenance on residential and light commercial systems, ensuring compliance with NEC standards and local codes. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues, leading apprentices on job sites, conducting inspections, and communicating professionally with clients. The ideal candidate can run a job from start to finish without supervision and represents the company with professionalism on every call.
Qualifications
∙ Active Colorado Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license required
∙ Ability to work independently and manage a job site without direct supervision
∙ Experience leading or mentoring apprentices and junior electricians
∙ Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills
∙ Experience in residential service work, new construction, or custom homes
∙ Light commercial experience is a strong plus
∙ Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
∙ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
∙ Thorough understanding of NEC, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
∙ Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
∙ Compensation: $25–$40/hour depending on license level and experience
