Budtender/Sales Associate

As a Budtender, you’ll be an important part of creating a welcoming, knowledgeable, and personalized experience for every guest. At Good Life Collective Fingerlakes, our role is to listen to each customer’s needs and help guide them toward products that align with their individual preferences—whether they’re seeking relaxation, wellness, creativity, sleep, or simply an enjoyable social experience.

Successful candidates will have a passion for music, art, design, culture, and of course… cannabis. Confidence, dedication and integrity are key when considering applicants. Basic cannabis product knowledge is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential. Excellent conversational skills and previous customer service is ideal . You should be comfortable discussing both major and minor cannabinoids, including THC, CBD, CBN, and more, as well as explaining how different cannabinoids and product formats may contribute to varying experiences. Beyond product knowledge, we’re looking for someone who understands that great cannabis retail is about more than making a sale. You’ll serve as an educator, host, and trusted resource, helping guests feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their purchasing decisions while contributing to a positive and inclusive store environment.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the store
• Provide excellent customer service before, during and after the sales experience
• Develop and maintain knowledge of all cultivars and products in store inventory
• Attend ongoing product knowledge training sessions
• Follow all operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Ensure satisfaction of all customers in the retail experience, focusing on increasing customer loyalty

About You

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in Cannabis in New York
• Knowledge of Cannabis
• Flowhub POS experience is a plus!!!
• Intermediate-level math skills
• Ability to problem solve in a professional manner
• Prior retail or customer service experience is an asset
• Want to grow and develop Sales and Customer Service skills
