Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and fabrication processes.
• Operate various tools and machinery, including shears, brakes, and welders, to shape and assemble sheet metal components.
• Measure and cut metal sheets to specified dimensions with accuracy.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production deadlines.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any fabrication issues that may arise during the production process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metal fabrication or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and machinery related to sheet metal work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
