** This is a First, Second, or Third Shift Position, must be able to work EVERY OTHER weekend. Locations in Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties!
Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CBRF Certified Caregivers in Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a CBRF Certified Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve in a comfortable and safe environment. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about helping others and have experience in home care, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities.
Requirements:
- Completion of a state approved CBRF Courses, medication administration course, standard precautions course and currently on registry - Required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CNA license- Preferred.
- Two years of caregiver experience in healthcare facility/advanced residential care experience in a CBRF or equivalent type of group home environment, and or training combined.
- Ability to work in unsupervised setting by leading with maturity and integrity.
- Flex shift rotation on weekends. - Required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe living environment.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when required.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized space.
- Document daily activities and any changes in client condition accurately.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care, nursing homes, or assisted living settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with senior care practices, including knowledge of vital signs monitoring and first aid procedures.
- Background in social work or caregiving is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their independence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Good Hope Manor, Milwaukee-LLC requires all new hires to undergo pre-employment medical screenings. We use a 5-panel screen that tests for: Cocaine, Amphetamines, Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opiates, including a TB testing and physical.
