Senior Pastor – Good Hope Lutheran Church (ELCA) Arlington, Ohio | Full-Time | Solo Pastor Good Hope Lutheran Church is a welcoming, multi-generational ELCA congregation located in Arlington, Ohio, a close-knit rural community in Northwest Ohio. Founded in 1899, our church has a long tradition of faith, service, and strong community connection. We are especially energized by the growth we are experiencing among our youth and young families and are excited about what comes next. We are seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to lead our congregation in worship, spiritual growth, and community engagement while building on this momentum.

Many residents work in agriculture, manufacturing, or commute to nearby Findlay. Position Overview Engage Youth and Families: Build on strong and growing youth engagement; be visible and relational with children, teens, and parents; support and expand existing programs. Lead Worship and Teach the Faith: Deliver engaging, biblically grounded sermons; lead worship consistent with Lutheran theology; strengthen understanding of Scripture and Lutheran doctrine. Provide Pastoral Care: Be active in visitation and care both within the congregation and community; support members through all stages of life. Engage the Community: Serve as a visible leader in Arlington; strengthen outreach efforts such as food pantry, VBS, and seasonal ministries; build relationships with schools and local organizations. Collaborate with Leadership: Work alongside an active church council and strong volunteer base; help guide the congregation into its next phase of growth.
