Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Boiler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The Boiler Technician will play a critical role in supporting our industrial operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial boilers and associated equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot boiler system issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Monitor system performance parameters and make adjustments to optimize efficiency
- Collaborate with field service teams to install, upgrade, or replace boiler components
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards during all operations
- Assist in training junior technicians or apprentices as needed
- Respond promptly to emergency calls related to boiler system failures or malfunctions
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC/R systems
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC systems, and boiler operation
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and field service procedures
- Familiarity with HVAC/R components and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or internal teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
- Prior experience working with industrial boilers or similar high-pressure systems is preferred

Pay: $22.50 - $42.50 per hour

License/Certification:
