Job Title: Patient Access Specialist - Hourly
Long term, full-time position: 35-40 hours a week
Option to start part-time (25-30hrs) and transition to full-time
You will be working alongside our team and are responsible for the following:
● Greeting, checking-in patients and collecting payments
● Scheduling appointments
● Answering phone calls, texts, and emails in a friendly and professional manner
● Verifying patient and insurance information
● Ensuring collection of necessary paperwork
● Calling insurance companies to verify patient benefits
● Submitting and inputting insurance authorizations
● Processing mail and faxes
● Scanning and faxing documents, including medical records and image requests
● Managing physical therapist schedules
● Collecting copayments and outstanding balances
● Stocking physical therapist stations and keeping the clinic organized and clean
Our clinic has a strong team dynamic, but you should be able to work independently and communicate the status of tasks and situations with other staff members. This position also has career growth opportunities with the ability to become more involved in the business should you want to further your health and business administration experience.

We have two locations, our main clinic at SW Scholls Ferry Road, and our satellite clinic inside MeFitness Studios on NE MLK Jr. Blvd. You will be working primarily at our SW office. You may be required to work at NE occasionally depending on coverage.
Clinic hours are 7am-7pm most days but can fluctuate based on the physical therapist schedule and patient load. This position may require opening and closing duties. We aren't currently offering Saturday hours, but this could change in the future such that Saturday coverage could be 1-2 times a month.
