Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development of infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive care that ensures safety, comfort, and well-being for each child throughout the day.
- Engage children in stimulating activities that promote exploration, language acquisition, and motor skills development.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages independence and curiosity.
- Monitor individual progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's milestones and needs.
- Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and transitions with patience and consistency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members.
