What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal Crew — Weekly Pay, Foot in the Door to Full-Time position at Good Guys Lawn Care?
Let’s be honest about this job.
Snow doesn’t check the clock. You’ll be out before sunrise some mornings, in the cold, running a snow blower, shoveling, and spreading salt. Storms don’t care about your weekend plans. That’s the job, and we won’t pretend otherwise.
So why take it?
This is your foot in the door to a full-time job next season. Snow removal is how a lot of our crew got hired. Prove you’ll show up when it’s snowing at 4am, and you’re first in line for a full-time spot on our team in spring - real work, all year, with a Top 100 Lawn & Landscape company that’s growing fast.
You get paid every Friday. Direct deposit to your bank or cash app. No waiting two weeks.
You own a piece of this company. Our Purpose Plan gives every full-time employee ownership points at no cost. The company grows, you cash in. Nobody else in snow and lawn care is offering that.
Your health is covered your way. We give full-time employees a personalized allowance, real company money, toward the medical and dental plan you choose, for you and your family.
Your future gets funded. Full-time employees are eligible for a 401k with company match, plus free financial training if you want it.
The money keeps coming. Paid Time Off, bonuses mid-season and at the holidays, and more.
The equipment actually works. New trucks (average age under 4 years), snow blowers that start, and a maintenance team that keeps everything running. You won’t be fighting your own gear at 5am.
It’s a real company and a good crew. Much of our team has been here for several years, and we do raffles, contests, food, and outings all year.
What we need from you: availability when the snow flies (at all times of day and night), the ability to do physical work in the cold, a positive attitude, and showing up on time. No experience necessary: we’ll train you, because we want you to be successful.
About the position: This is an entry-level snow removal job: snow blowing, shoveling, and salting. It does not involve operating a plow truck.
