Job Overview:
As a Direct Care Worker (CNA Preferred), you will play a critical role in providing hands-on, high-quality care to a client with complex medical needs.
Location: Philadelphia, PA (19144)
Shifts Available: Full-time and part-time positions available, with flexible shift options
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility, lifting, and transfers
- Provide wound care and incontinence support
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Follow individualized care plans to ensure all client needs are met
Client’s Care Needs:
- Bedbound and diabetic
- Requires specialized wound care and incontinence support
- 24/7 care coverage – Seeking multiple caregivers to fill shifts
Qualifications & Skills:
- CNA license preferred but not required
- Experience in nursing, home care, or direct care settings
- Strong caregiving skills and a compassionate demeanor
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices
- Familiarity with basic medical procedures and terminology
- Ability to lift and move individuals safely
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
