Job Purpose:
-
To support the store manager and operations by leading and guiding the team during shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth workflow, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Assist store manager in creating success and satisfaction for team members through training support and skill development.
-
Assist team members in completing responsibilities accurately and efficiently in any department.

Maintain awareness of scheduling needs, theft prevention, fraud, and shrink.
-
Complete merchandising tasks to ensure product availability and freshness.
-
Maintain store cleanliness and perform light janitorial tasks as needed.
-
Ensure excellent customer service by cultivating genuine compassion and a desire to help people.

Complete daily tasks that include standing for long periods, repetitive lifting, and bending.
-
Utilize knowledge of computerized registers and cash handling experience effectively.
-
Demonstrate customer service skills and team training abilities with attention to detail.
-
Exhibit innate self-confidence that allows for the success of others.

Employ excellent time management and personnel management skills to optimize shift operations.
Availability and Compensation:
-
Part-time or Full-time, 29-40 hours a week, Monday - Friday availability and ability to work anytime on Saturdays and Sundays.

$14 - $17/hour, DOE
Qualifications
Required Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
-
2 years minimum experience in retail, grocery, point of sale, and/or customer service.

Previous experience in management or supervisor roles is a plus.
Required Skills and Abilities:

Ability to assist the store manager in all store functions as needed with attention to detail.

Ability to maintain product availability, freshness and store cleanliness.

Capability to ensure excellent customer service with genuine compassion and a desire to help people.

Proficiency in completing daily tasks that include standing for long periods, repetitive lifting, and bending.

Competence in performing light janitorial tasks and other duties as needed.

Ability to facilitate team trainings.
