• $16 - $18/hr tips (avg. $3/hr), DOE

• Part Time and Full Time positions available, Sunday through Saturday availability during cafe working hours, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. 

Job Purpose:

• The Cafe' Member position requires the ability to assist in all operations of the cafe, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all patrons. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of service and quality for which GOOD EARTH MARKETS is known.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and cooking scratch soup recipes.

• Maintain fresh ingredients and ensure the café is fully stocked to meet the menu requirements at all times.

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the cafe by adhering to all required health safety codes and practices.

• Follow recipes and designated kitchen practices to ensure product consistency and quality.

• Stand for long periods and complete tasks that require repetitive motions, lifting, and bending.

• Perform other duties throughout the cafe as assigned or needed to support overall operations.

• Demonstrate a great attitude, willingness to learn, and accept feedback to continuously improve service and product delivery.

• Display excellent attention to detail and a desire to be part of a great team, ensuring a positive and energetic work environment.

• Be self-motivated, reliable, and punctual, setting a standard for professionalism within the cafe team.

Required Certifications:

• Utah Food Safety Certification

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a food service environment.

• Familiarity with health safety codes and practices in a café or restaurant setting.

• Culinary experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks that require repetitive motions, lifting, and bending.

• Capability to perform various duties throughout the café as assigned or needed.

• Passion for cooking and being in a cafe environment.

• Great attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to accept feedback.
